Recycling Stryofoam PEANUTS

Styrofoam packing peanuts can be reused. There's a square black plastic can for them in the lab under the office equipment corner. No trash in there, please.
Be aware that some peanuts are made from organic materials like corn and dissolve in water. Please don't mix them in with the plastic peanuts. Just put the organic ones in the sink and run water over them.
If a package has a mixture of both types, all the peanuts have to be thrown away because the organic ones will absorb moisture from the air and mold.
There's a green 40 gallon waste can on the second floor to collect plastic peanuts for reuse.
