Eyepiece/objective cleaner

Quantity Ingredients Location
2 oz Dropper bottle Area I
6 ml Acetone (full strength) Area A, Shelf 4
"splash" 409 degreaser Area A, under sink
1 pad Lens cleaning paper Area K – drawer labeled “microscope supplies, razors”
Large petri dish Cabinet #1

Directions

  1. Combine the acetone & 409 degreaser in the 2 oz bottle
  2. Fill the bottle the rest of the way with water
  3. Use the paper cutter & remove the binding from the lens paper
  4. Place the lens paper in the petri dish to protect it from dust
