20X E.M. Stock

1 L Ingredients Locations
17.5 g NaCl Area C, Shelf 4
0.75 g KCl Area C, Shelf 4
2.9 g CaCl2 • 2H20 Area C, Shelf 4
0.41 g KH2PO4 Area C, Shelf 4
0.142 g NA2HPO4 (Anhy) Area C, Shelf 4
4.9 g MgSO4 • 7H20 Area C, Shelf 4
to 1000 ml Distilled Water Area H, Shelf 4

Directions

  1. Get a 250 ml Graduated Cylinder (Cabinet 5).
  2. Measure NaCl, KCl and CaCl2 • 2H20 into the cylinder.
  3. Added Water to 250 ml and pour into a fish-safe, 1 L container (Cabinet 5).
  4. Pour 250 ml of Water into 1 L container.
  5. Measure KH2PO4,NA2HPO4 and MgSO4 • 7H20 into the cylinder.
  6. Repeat Step 3 and 4.
  7. Place on a stir plate until fully disolved.
  8. Filter using a Nalgene Filter (Cabinet 1).
